The electric car has never gotten “traction,” because there are many who have a vested interest in its failure. And, let’s face it, they’re not known for the kind of “sex appeal” that creates high market demand.

But the electric car is not just the alternative for eco-drivers. In fact, the newest electric cars are…well…cool.

We were tasked with creating a manifesto that reframed what the electric car can be. Then we developed a strategic plan to bring car companies, environmental activists, NASCAR drivers, and soccer moms together to get adoption past the tipping point; a case for support to build a community of passionate participants; and concept a campaign to drive sales.
